IS-linked couple arrested from southeast Delhis Okhla

NEW DELHI: Intelligence agencies on early Sunday apprehended a couple linked to
Khorasan Module of the
Islamic State from
Okhla area of southeast Delhi.

They have been accused of instigating anti-Citizenship Ammendment Act (CAA) protests and motivating youths to carry out terror strikes in retaliation.

Delhi Police‘s special cell has arrested the two and is interrogating them.

The police identified them as
Jahanjeb Sami and Hina Bashir Beg.

A lot of jihad literature has been recovered from their possession.

They were found to be in direct touch with senior IS-KP members abroad. The police are scanning their mobile phones for more details and efforts are to nab other members of this module.
